  1. Firstly, you nab a little cotton wool with the alcohol, and apply to the swollen marks on your dog’s skin. Most ticks stay in their feed zone, so if you spot a swollen spot, they’re high chances that there’s a live tick around.   3. Then you drop the picked ticks in the retaining container, making sure the container has a good lid is important, as keeping the picked tick carelessly, will lead to even more trouble. After you’re done picking, use a nabbed cotton wool, in cleaning the bitten parts in order to eliminate dropping left by the ticks.
  4. Burn the container retaining the ticks to ensure they don’t cause discomfort to you or your pet.
